• Dedicated Equine Practice:
      As the only dedicated equine practice in the region, we offer a steady      stream of diverse and interesting cases. With the nearest specialty      hospital 6+ hours away, many clients choose us for advanced surgeries and      procedures, allowing you to work on complex and career-defining cases with      the support of experienced veterinarians by your side. 
• Minimal After-Hours Requirements:
      While we are a 24/7 ambulatory clinic, our after-hours case load is light.      You won’t spend weekends handling gastro dogs or tick cats! Expect 1-in-4      weekends on call and 2 nights per week. Excellent commission paid on      afterhours cases.

      You’ll work alongside two experienced equine veterinarians (one with      membership qualifications), who are employed full-time. New graduates are      encouraged to apply, and mentorship and ongoing support will be provided.      We also have access to several local and international specialists for      advice. Plus, we offer a generous Continuing Education (CE) allowance.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking a motivated, self-driven veterinarian with a passion for equine care. Whether you’re an experienced equine practitioner or a recent graduate looking to expand your skills, we’d love to hear from you.

Key qualifications include:

• A degree in Veterinary Science (or equivalent)      and the ability to obtain registration with the QLD Vet Surgeons Board      (VSB)
• Experience in equine practice is preferred but      not essential
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to      build strong relationships with clients
• A proactive, compassionate, and professional      approach to care
